The Parklands Foundation was established to help add value to the future of Sydney Olympic Park by helping to attract community support through programs.

GIS was historically used in Sydney Olympic Park by the Parklands Foundation partner, Sydney Olympic Park Authority during the lead up to and post the Sydney 2000 Olympics for the remediation and construction of the Parklands. Today, GIS is now the under the management of the Parklands Foundation.

A vision for the GIS was only developed after an extensive review of corporate information and GIS stakeholder engagements. This included complete access to corporate information and GIS Strategy workshops involving all levels of Executive Management, through to Business Unit Managers and GIS end users.

gViz provided a comprehensive GIS Strategy and supporting documentation, which can now be used to provide a detailed 'delivery plan' for re-aligning the GIS to the newly established corporate directives of the Parklands Foundation.

gViz Enterprise Consulting - Best practice solutions, costed to meet your budget.

More gViz Case Studies

© gViz 2009.
